Retail recruiters optimistic despite high street doom and gloom

The UK high street has suffered in recent months, with a string of closures of well-known retailers, and others struggling to survive.

Retail recruiters have told Recruiter that while parts of the market are struggling, it is not all doom and gloom. 

The closure of Toys R Us, Maplin and furniture chain Multiyork, combined with falling consumer confidence, Brexit and the seemingly inexorable rise on online shopping all add up to a picture of a beleaguered high street.
