CY Executive Resourcing completes MBO from founder

Worcester-based finance and accounting recruitment firm CY Executive Resourcing has completed a management buyout.

Former CEO Cynthia Parker has sold the business for an undisclosed sum to a trio of fellow directors: Vural Aglamaz, former deputy CEO, and former business directors Kurt Rimell-Lejeune and Andrew Vaughan. Parker launched the business in 1999.

Darren Hodson, partner at Smith Cooper Corporate Finance, supported Parker on the sale of the business. He described the company as “an exceptional recruitment agency” and “one that has managed to thrive through the pandemic… It’s exceptional that this type of transaction was completed in the circumstances”.

Hodson went on to say: “It seems like the right deal at the right time.”

Smith Cooper is an accountancy and business advisory firm for owner-managed businesses across the Midlands.
