Recruiters rush to sign up to #10000BlackInterns initiative

Sixty-one recruitment agencies and executive search firms have so far signed up to the #10000BlackInterns programme, organisers have revealed.

Through the initiative, companies will offer paid work experience across a wide range of sectors, providing training and development opportunities, and creating a sustainable cycle of mentorship and sponsorship for the black community.

Each industry signed up to the initiative is to sign up at least 100 black interns. In addition to the recruitment sector, other sectors that have signed up are accountancy, education, health data science, healthcare management, insurance, investment management, law, long-term savings, and marketing & advertising.
