The number of temporary staff in the UK rose by 13% in January compared to the same period last year, reports temporary labour supplier de Poel.

The number of temporary staff in the UK rose by 13% in January compared to the same period last year, reports temporary labour supplier de Poel.

Manufacturing was the sector with the biggest rise in temporary workers, at 35%, closely followed by business services 33%.
The care sector (19%) and construction (13%) also saw rises....
