Competition Act penalties




The Office of Fair Trading has published its final draft of the guidance to the new Competition Act, under which infringing companies will be liable to fines of up to 10 per cent of UK turnover for every year of their infringement. Whistleblowers willing to reveal the existence of “cartels” will also be encouraged with the inclusion of a so-called leniency clause....
