OGC seeks better bids with supplier code of practice

The government's central procurement advisory agency is to introduce a code of practice for suppliers in an attempt to raise the standards of bids and quality of service.

Peter Gershon, chief executive of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), told delegates at the Public Procurement: Global Revolution II conference at the University of Nottingham that the code would highlight government purchasers' expectations of suppliers.
