It is good to see that Partnerships UK (PUK), the public-private partnerships development body, is open for business. There has been a year of intense speculation about the new organisation, which will succeed the Treasury’s private finance initiative (PFI) task force in providing support to public-sector organisations in setting up PFI deals.
