The cover feature “Hazard warning” raised some important issues about the relationship between vehicle makers and their suppliers. In the article, suppliers (albeit only six of them) complained that manufacturers were insisting on cost-cutting at the expense of efforts to build lasting partnerships. This is certainly not a criticism that we at Toyota UK would accept...
