Review halts search for BBC procurement chief_2

The search for a new head of procurement at the BBC has been put on hold while director-general Greg Dyke carries out a management shake-up.

Executive search company PricewaterhouseCoopers has been told to stop looking for a replacement for Liz Wilkinson, who left at the end of January. It had been unable to locate a suitable candidate, despite offering a salary of around £100,000 a year. Wilkinson was paid £65,000.
