Following a few rules can help reduce the risk of compensation claims

The old adage ‘accidents will happen’ is now usually followed by a solicitor’s letter. Since October 2003, employees who bring a civil liability case against their employer after suffering illness or injury as a result of a breach of its health and safety obligations, have been able to refer to the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
