Mike Tomlinson’s report into qualifications has split opinion
Politically, the government is in a no-win situation when it comes to exam reform. There are widespread doubts about the validity of A-levels and the exam system in general, with critics claiming they have become too easy. And vocational qualifications are unpopular because they are seen as the poorer cousins of GCSEs.
Creating something similar to the old GSCE...
