Business process re-engineering is big, bold and often leads to radical change. Ken Lysons explains how its focus on outcomes can make organisations more responsive to customers
It may be useful to say what business process re-engineering (BPR) is not. It is not reorganising: re-engineering is concerned with what work needs to be done rather than how the organisation is structured.
