Supply chains stretched and buckled in the UK’s recent heat wave, but as summers get even hotter, purchasers will have to learn to cope. Malcolm Wheatley reports
The old Australian drinking song had it about right: “There’s nothing so lonesome, morbid or drear... Than to stand in the bar of a pub with no beer.” And if a pub with no beer is bad, a brewery without beer is even worse.
