Keegan leaves ASB for Treasury role_2

Mary Keegan is to leave her position as chairman of the UK Accounting Standards Board (ASB) to take up the post of Managing Director, Financial Management, Reporting and Audit at HM Treasury.

Chancellor Gordon Brown said: "I am delighted to welcome Mary Keegan to the Treasury. She has an outstanding track record in the financial world and will bring with her a wealth of experience and expertise in the crucial areas of financial management and accounting."
