A place on a preferred supplier list is often seen as the route to big bucks. So are PSLs still something to aim for, or are they more trouble than they’re worth?
In a tight market, a rising business trend - the preferred supplier list (PSL) - seems like an assurance of business from a client company if you can get onto it. Recruiters are learning to pitch, present and provide in order to survive. PSLs are now a fact of life. But they’re not always all they’re cracked up to be.
PSLs first started in the 1980s. Like so...
