Greythorn promotes Gibbons to global HR director Anna Gibbons has been promoted to global HR director at Greythorn. In her new role she will be responsible for implementing a global HR strategy throughout the whole of the Greythorn Group, which comprises Greythorn IT, WH Recruitment and Marks Sattin. The group has offices in the UK, USA, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. She says: “My main focus will be on attracting and developing talent and ensuring that we have a strategy which supports local HR delivery across all locations and brands. “Our intention is to become a truly global recruitment brand by 2009 and we already have further imminent acquisitions. We will be expanding the WH business into China, Japan and the Middle East, and the Greythorn IT brand into Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This offers superb opportunities for the people who join us, both internationally and across different brands.” Gibbons was previously managing director of Greythorn’s IT business in the UK.

Executives Online has appointed Jonathan Corneras head of permenant recruitment. He joined from Hudson Global Resources where he was associate director. Michael Faull has also joined Executives Online as a consultant.

Andrew Haddow has become director of First People Solutions’ oil & gas division — First People Tudor. It has also selected Charles Noyce as divisional manager for Banking and Financial Services in London and Juliet Bell as marketing and communications manager in Glasgow.

Rockpools has selected Liz Holderness as head of research. She has previously worked for Goddard Kay Rogers, Whitehead Mann and Armstrong Craven.

Julian Panter (left) has become Savills’ regional recruitment manager for the South East. He joined from Hays.

Remploy, the UK’s provider of employment services for disabled people, has appointed Robert Taylor as general sales manager of Public Procurement. He will be responsible for promoting Remploy’s product offering to public sector companies.

John Wight has joined Detail2Group to spearhead its executive search division. He has previously worked for RMC and Star Executives.

RAA Sprague, the recruitment advertising and communications agency, has appointed John Langford as non-executive director. Langford was the founder and chairman of TCS Group.

Veredus has appointed James Cleary as business manager on its interim management team. He will focus on public sector clients.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has appointed Andy Ball as a regional director in the North West. He works for Veredus as a business director in its Manchester office. The REC has also recruited Ian Storer (right) and Gary Evans as regional directors in the North East region. Storer is managing director of Corepeople Recruitment and Evans is owner and founder of RLS.

Property and construction recruiter Digby Morris has appointed Tracy Wright( top left) as consultant on the technical team based in its South West office. Bianca West (top right) and Philippa Wallace (bottom left) have also joined as consultants. The company has also promoted Nick Fishloch (bottom right) to associate director. He is responsible for clients in property finance.

Michael Page International has chosen Ruby McGregor-Smith to join the board as a non-executive director. She is chief executive of facilities, engineering and property company MITIE Group.

Catering Services International (CSI) has appointed Helene Pierre as consultant and Jill Ball as temp controller at its Bath branch. It has appointed Sophie Cleere as a consultant at its Brighton branch. CSI has also selected Grahame Day as branch manager and Chris Massey as temp controller in Cheltenham.
