The huge distance travelled by your Christmas meals and drinks before they reach the table – also called ‘food miles’ – is a growing issue for businesses and consumers. Helen Riley reports
Ah, Christmas dinner: turkey, roast potatoes, carrots, sage and onion stuffing, parsnips, gravy – and the dreaded sprouts. All members of the family together having fun with granny sitting in the corner getting tipsy on the sherry.
