Promotions, regradings, networking - and lots of shopping - have characterised the past six months for the four intrepid purchasers who took part in SM's summer makeover challenge.
Julie Willis, Peter Hayes, Ray Burgess and Ann Towler spent a day in June in the company of Gail Morgan, a top image consultant. Morgan, head of the Image House consultancy and president of the Federation of Image Consultants, is a firm advocate of the "first impressions count" school of thought.
