Schools across the country will begin to take on another 10,000 teaching and non-teaching staff from the beginning of the next school year this autumn.
This new manpower will in particular extend services for children with special educational needs and services outside of regular school hours. The new plans, which also include putting a stop to previously announced redundancies in the sector, are partly financed by increased alcohol duties.
