Accountants PwC have seen nearly 400 applications for a scheme whereby female undergraduates will join the firm for one week this summer, as part of a drive to promote the accountancy profession amongst women.

Accountants PwC have seen nearly 400 applications for a scheme whereby female undergraduates will join the firm for one week this summer, as part of a drive to promote the accountancy profession amongst women.

Undergraduates on the scheme will shadow a female partner or director for a week, with position available across the firm’s tax, consulting and audit business to candidates with over 300 UCAS points who are on course for a 2:1 in any degree subject.Students impressing during their week will be offered an interview with a view towards returning as an intern or full-time graduate trainee.

“The decisions you make about your career are some of the toughest you face. By taking part in a shadowing scheme students can get some great first-hand experience and insights.”
