The Canadian Staffing Index for March has hit 107 points, exceeding the 100-point mark it stood at in pre-recession July 2008 for the sixth month in a row.

The Index is published by the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services, and “is based upon reported billed hours for temporary staffing from a survey of leading staffing firms”.It stood at 102 in February, indicating 5% month-on-month industry growth, and March also showed a 14% year-on-year growth.
