Consumer law firm Co-operative Legal Services (CLS) is to take on up to 150 new positions across its business.

Jobs are likely to include roles for solicitors, litigators and legal executives up to £50k in salary.

Most positions will be based in Bristol, but some will form part of a new family law division in London.

CLS, part of the Co-operative Group, last week became one of the first businesses applying to become an Alternative Business Structure under the new Legal Services Act.

CLS was formed in 2006 and currently employs over 400 staff.
