Video screening service enRecruit launches today in London and New York, aiming to cut down the time spent on pre-screening job applicants.
The system lets the recruiter set up a job specification, create three key questions for candidates to answer and then can email candidates to invite them to submit a two-minute video response. When candidates create a video, the recruiter is emailed a notification. The company’s founder, serial entrepreneur Martin Warner, tells Recruiter that many recruitment and employment services are “all kind of dabbling with video” in various ways, but says enRecruit’s goal is more focused, saying: “We just want to screen early interviews on video.”
He adds: “You can do amazing things with three questions in two minutes.”
