Contracts/Deals: HTE to procure for seven NHS trusts

Procurement services provider HealthTrust Europe (HTE) has won the right to supply its services, which include recruitment, to seven NHS Trusts.

Procurement services provider HealthTrust Europe (HTE) has been named as a procurement partner of choice supplying services, including recruitment across the UK.
HTE represents over 40 NHS Trusts in England and has more recently been appointed by another seven significant Trusts. These Trusts will now have access to the HTE contracts including the nationwide contract for temporary staffing.
The company was originally Healthcare Purchasing Consortium, a procurement services provider for NHS West Midlands, and was purchased by HealthTrust Purchasing Group last year. It then became known as HealthTrust Europe, becoming a private company.
The seven trusts are Imperial College, Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospitals NHS Trust, Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust and Warrington & Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
