Discount retailer Dollar General is to create a new distribution centre in Berks County, Pennsylvania, creating over 500 jobs with a further 75 indirect trucking jobs likely to result as well.

Discount retailer Dollar General is to create a new distribution centre in Berks County, Pennsylvania, creating over 500 jobs with a further 75 indirect trucking jobs likely to result as well.
This is according to the office of state governor Tom Corbett, who also announced that the firm has received a $2.2m (£1.4m) funding offer from the state’s Department of Community and Economic Development.This includes $225k in job training assistance and $1m in Job Creation Tax Credits.
Dollar General has 10,000 stores in 40 states.
