E-cruiters honoured at NORA 2001
The winners of the 2001 National Online Recruitment Awards, hosted by alljobsuk.com, have been announced.
Best general jobsite was awarded to GoJobsite, which beat off competition from fellow nominees Monster, PlanetRecruit, Topjobs and Workthing. ‘Winning this award rounds off a great year for GoJobsite,’ said MD Keith Potts. ‘The challenge now is to maintain our success.’
The nominated sites were judged on the following criteria: ease of use, design, layout and speed; volume of available vacancies; volume of claimed visitors; available facilities for jobseekers; and prominence in the targeted market. Judges included Sue Smith, formerly chief executive of the Institute of Employment Consultants and now co-founder of Littlesmith, and Andrew Pert, co-founder of Search.
The category of best specialist jobsite was won by IT e-cruitment giant Jobserve, despite its current drive to expand into other areas, while best regional jobsite was awarded to NorthWestWorkplace. Reed.co.uk was named best national recruitment agency website.
