Maintenance work on the public tram system in Castellón in Eastern Spain is to create 150 new jobs, the city’s council has announced.

Maintenance work on the public tram system in Castellón in Eastern Spain is to create 150 new jobs in addition to 50 already created on the project, the city’s council has announced.
This is according to a report in regional newspaper El Periódico Mediterraneo, which details that 70 people will be added to the 50 workers already working on the project in the city centre, while a further 80 new jobs will be tied up in the supply chain and related work.
The local government has committed around €85m (£66.9m) to the investment.
