Channel Islands-based AP Executive has become the first UK recruitment firm to establish a presence in the British Virgin Islands.

The company has opened an office in Tortola to specialise in executive search and selection for the offshore finance industry.

Headed up by Judy Ireland, the company will serve a number of markets including the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands and Bermuda.

Commenting on the move, Gina Le Prevost, managing director of parent company Approved Personnel Group, said: ‘We are delighted to have been granted the first BVI trading licence for our industry, and to have been so well received by the relevant Caribbean government departments.’
