Marketing communication agency McCann Manchester is taking applications for six apprenticeships positions.
This is the firm’s second apprenticeships scheme. Four people were taken on in this capacity last year, with all four of last years’ apprentices now holding full-time roles within the agency. The training will give each candidate a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship including an NVQ in Marketing and the CIM Introductory Certificate in Marketing.
Darren Minshall, talent and development director at the firm says: “The traditional image of creative industries hasn’t matched up with the stereotypical image of a manual labour Apprenticeship of the past, but times have changed.”
Elsewhere in the McCann WorldGroup, McCann London showed its prowess in attracting talent at an entry-level, winning the Most Effective Recruitment Campaign award at the 2012 Recruiter Awards for Excellence for its graduate recruitment campaign.
Applications close on 16 July.
