National Online Recruitment Awards launched
The first National Online Recruitment Awards (NORAs) will take place this October to give organisations the opportunity to gain recognition for their online recruitment efforts.
All nominations are invited through organisers, AlljobsUK.com, where entries can be submitted until 20 September.
There will be ten categories, and five judges will draw up a shortlist of the five most impressive sites in five categories.
These are design, layout and speed, the volume of available vacancies, volume of claimed visitors and facilities for jobseekers.
Alljobsuk.com will announce the finalists on 24 September, with the winners to be revealed on 15 October.
Award categories include best general jobsite, best specialist jobsite, best regional jobsite, best national recruitment agency jobsite and best small recruitment agency jobsite.
Stephen O’Donnell, CEO of Alljobsuk.com, said: ‘These awards will reward dynamic, candidate-focused websites with the recognition they deserve.
‘There is an excellent incentive for all organisations to become involved in this event, with the winners not only obtaining awards but gaining valuable publicity to candidates and within the industry.’
