Headhunter Whitehead Mann has launched a bid to tap into the Chinese market.

The FTSE-listed firm has formed a strategic alliance with Integer Consulting, a search firm based in Shanghai.

Chief executive Stephen Lawrence said the arrangement would allow Whitehead Mann to use Integer’s resources to run searches in China for clients with operations there.

Whitehead Mann will also run searches for Integer’s Chinese clients wishing to establish themselves in occidental countries.

Former Russell Reynolds headhunters Xinhau Dang and Matthew Maslin founded Integer in 2001, which now has 10 staff in Beijing and Hong Kong.
