Essex-based Brookfield Recruitment has been commended for its work to accommodate working mothers on its staff.

The recruiter was highly commended by The Mother at Work employer awards for its flexible approach to working mothers.

The judges said: “A small organisation, which does not have the backing of global colleagues and a huge workforce, Brookfield offers a very flexible approach, has shown great understanding and initiative in flexible practices thereby winning loyalty from employees.”

Tesco, Ford and Avis were amongst other companies nominated for the awards.
