Recruitment website fish4jobs is launching a next generation candidate delivery service, which compares text in a posted vacancies with text in all CVs in its database.

The top matches are then emailed to the recruiter immediately, giving them a clear head start in their hunt for the best candidates.

Joe Slavin, chief executive at fish4jobs, says: “With traditional ‘CV matching’ software the recruiter is expected to log in, spend their time entering various Boolean key words to implement a search and then trawl through many, often inappropriate CVs.  

 “With our new intelligent software the recruiter simply needs to upload the job spec and will receive, within a few seconds, a completely bespoke e-mail containing CVs of the most appropriate candidates for their position.  It really is that quick and easy.”

fish4 have employed Norwegian IT company Fast to develop this service and the software is being integrated into the fish4 website by technology firm InfoSys.
