Graduates can hunt for jobs at the click of their remote control thanks to a new recruitment drive broadcast on a digital TV channel.

The new interactive service called JobsTV will run on Sky Digital from this month and is available free for all 15 million satellite subscribers.

Already the channel has attracted more than 40,000 job seekers who can search vacancies and profiles from Graduates Prospects, part of the popular graduate recruitment site, prospects.ac.uk.

Mike Hill, Chief Executive of Graduate Prospects said his company are constantly looking for new ways to reach potential clients.

He said: “Organisations are finding it increasingly difficult to reach the right candidates for their vacancies, which is why we have investigated the route of digital TV which adds a new dimension to our service.”
