Headhunter Spencer Stuart has begun the search to replace Centrica chief executive Sir Roy Gardner, who is set to become chairman of the catering group, Compass.

And public sector headhunter Rockpools has appointed former channel tunnel chief Jack Lemley (pictured) as chair of the Olympic Delivery Authority.

In his role, Lemley will help oversee the public money that goes into infrastructure, redevelopment and building projects for the games' East London site.
