An upturn in the life sciences sector has helped executive search and interim specialist PiR Group almost double turnover and profits over the last 12 months.

The company saw revenues and profits grow by 47% and 41% respectively during 2005.

The firm attributes its recent success to an upsurge in the pharmaceutical sector and a more pan-European approach to its business.

The company primarily works across the pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic markets.
