Banking and financial services recruiter Morgan McKinley has scooped a prestigious business award for looking after its staff.

The firm, bought in April by AIM-listed firm Imprint Search and Selection, won Employer of the Year for the South-East region at the National Business Awards regional awards ceremony last month.

Morgan McKinley won the award for demonstrating its company values, providing supportive workplaces and active development for employees.

“Morgan McKinley shone because of the passion and commitment the business shows to its people,” said judging panel vice chairman Mike Faulkner.

Morgan McKinley chief executive Robert Thesiger said the company would not rest on its laurels after winning this accolade.

“We will continue to invest in our people and work hard to build on our position as an employer of choice on a regional, national and now international level,” he said.
