ONE IN A MILLION AWARDS
Office worker Michael Ross has been named as the winner of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s One In A Million Award for the best temporary worker in the UK.
Ross, who was nominated by Adecco’s York branch, beat 12 other hopefuls to win, after earlier being named Office Worker of the Year.
Ross was presented with the award by employment relations minister Jim Fitzpatrick MP during a champagne reception at the House of Commons.
Ross told Recruiter: “It’s just amazing, unreal. It’s nice to win but, in a way, everyone who is here today is one in a million.”
