IT recruiter Penta Consulting has announced record results for its latest financial year.

The Surrey-based agency posted a 100% increase in turnover from £15 million to £31 million for the year ending 30 April. Operating profit was £1.27 million.

During the last year, Penta launched an executive search and selection division in the UK as well as opening offices in France, Norway and Austria. It was also voted Best International Recruitment Firm in the 2005 Recruiter Awards for Excellence.

“We are confident that we will continue our fast-track growth during the coming year,” said Penta financial director Mark Sidlin.
