Revenues in the executive search industry increased 14% in the second quarter compared with the first quarter, and rose 18% compared with the same period last year, according to a report by the Association of Executive Search Consultants.

New searches worldwide were up 6% from Q1 2006. The average revenue per consultant rose 14% from Q1 to Q2.

UK searches accounted for 29.9% of the total European market, a 5.4% decline on the previous quarter. The number of searches in Germany and France also decreased.
