If 2006 has been a year of achievement for your recruitment company, get your pen or pencil out now. It's time to prepare your entries for the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2007, supported by Thomas International.

Awards will be presented in 19 categories at the event, which will feature a celebrity presenter, on 27 March at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. The deadline to submit entries is 6 November.

Event co-ordinator Nic Fehrenbach has urged prospective entrants to read the entry rules carefully "even if you've entered before, because the rules have changed". Fehrenbach said: "We've specified the information that entries must include. This will make it easier to enter and easier for judges to adjudicate like for like."

One key change this year is the judging process for the recruitment-to-recruitment category. Serving as judges for that category will be winners of the 2006 awards.

"We felt we needed to take a different approach to this category," said Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke. "We're delighted with the enthusiastic response we've had to the idea."
