Most UK workers will spend their holidays updating their CVs and hunting for jobs.

A survey by recruitment agency Robert Walters found nearly two thirds (62%) of respondents would be working on CVs.

Just a third would be using their holidays for pure relaxation. Director Andrew Chancellor said: “Holidays are always good times to pause, reflect and get real perspective, to work on CVs and do job hunting away from prying eyes.

“The advent of wireless technology and easy internet access makes remote communication with recruiters incredibly easy.”
