Holiday firm in digital TV plan

Travel company Thomas Cook is using digital television in its new recruitment drive.

The travel agent has selected the interactive Job Channel in a bid to find 750 staff.

Viewers will be able to use their remote controls to access the firm’s microsite, containing information about the company’s ethos and jobs on offer.

They will also be able to answer pre-qualifying questions and register their interest in a vacancy.
