Cummins Mellor Recruitment has been awarded the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce’s Unique Business of the Year 2006 award.

The judges said the recruitment agency has continued to prove sustained growth in a highly competitive industry, while meeting the needs of both their clients and candidates with an honest and ethical approach. They were also impressed with the firm’s investment in its staff with an internal training and development programme.

“The company is growing as a whole, but our long standing hospitality division has performed outstandingly and their achievements deserve recognition, says company director Michelle Mellor. “However, this accolade is a reflection of the brilliant teamwork and efforts of our whole team.”
