WR Consultancy, the commercial, industrial and catering recruiter, has been named Small Business of the Year at the Peterborough Business Awards.

Founder Wendy Coulter says: "It's absolutely phenomenal. I have worked 20 years and it's the best thing ever to win this award. I am really pleased and have enjoyed every minute of being here tonight."

WR Consultancy supplies temporary, contract and permanent staff to more than 300 companies and has in excess of 10,000 candidates.

In January it came second place out of the whole of Cambridgeshire for the Recruitment Agency of the Year Awards.
