Philippa Rose, founder of the financial-sector search firm The Rose Partnership has named her successor as chief executive.

Ellen Yaffe, who is currently head of Rose’s global markets search practice, will take the helm in the next few years. Rose herself will take over the chairmanship of the firm and insists that this is not “an indication of my retirement”.

Yaffe has been a director of the firm since 2000 and sits on the almost-exclusively female board.
