Construction and engineering recruitment specialist 4 U Recruitment has helped London Tower Crane Hire and Sales expand into the North of England and Scotland.

During a six-year partnership between the companies, in which 4 U Recruitment successfully placed hundreds of candidates at London Tower Crane, the South Wales-based recruitment agency was well-placed to make a recommendation for a key role in the company’s expansion.

Martin Harvey, operations director for London Tower Crane Hire and Sales, said: “After winning some highly successful contracts, it was imperative we hired the right business development manager to help drive forward our expansion into the North of England and Scotland.

“We mentioned to 4 U Recruitment that we needed an experienced crane professional with commercial experience and customer focus, and within three days they had come back with a recommendation which led to us employing our new manager.”

As a result of Donald Steele’s appointment as business development manager, London Tower Crane has now won significant contracts in Scotland, including the construction of a hospital and university accommodation in Aberdeen and an additional hospital in Glasgow.
