Students think accountancy offers their best chance of landing a job, according to research from Milkround.com.

The research shows  35% picked out accounting, auditing and finance as the industry offering the best prospects, while 29 percent chose  banking and financial services and 27% IT and telecommunications.
 
Conversely, industries students thought offered the worst prospects, include arts, entertainment and media industry (30%), local government and civil service 26%, publishing, journalism and languages 18% and construction, property and surveying 14%.
