Norman Burden (pictured), former managing director of Imprint, has joined True North Human Capital as chief executive and managing partner.

Burden resigned from Imprint in May 2007, along with chairman Pierce Casey and chief executive Brian Hamill.

True North works predominantly with large corporates developing strategies to find, keep and motivate the finest talent in the marketplace.

Burden says: "Having worked in the field of human resources for the past 20 years, I have been really excited by the pace of change in the sector in recent times. Today’s ‘intelligent’ employers rate their human capital as their number one asset and what interests me about True North is that the organisation is devoted entirely to assisting companies improve their performance in this field. The impressive client list also convinced me that this is a business where the best years are still ahead of us."

Burden is joined at True North by several of his old management team from Imprint including Jo Dalton (business development director), Richard Shea (head of sales and marketing) and Candice Dowsett Verne (head of operation).
