Multi-sector recruiter Anne Corder Recruitment (ACR) is in the second phase of its hiring for AB Agri’s Peterborough-based customer service centre.

Following 13 successful appointments for customer service co-ordinator roles, Nel Woolcott, recruitment manager at ACR, told Recruiter they were looking to fill three administrator and two co-ordinator roles, “but this could change and increase”.

Although she says the volume of roles is not the same in the recession, “there are definitely opportunities out there”, and ACR is targeting other client companies which are making redundancies to offer those people with the right skills positions at AB Agri.

Woolcott says: “We’re trying to be as creative as possible and bring the good news message that companies in the Peterborough are still hiring.”

Redundant staff are offered a competency-based assessment, which could either lead to one of the vacant roles at AB Agri or else further help down the line from ACR’s consultants.
